Paola Balcaza. Graphic Designer, Argentine, graduated from University of Buenos Aires in 1995. She worked in different graphic design studios until 1999. After that, she joined Reed Exhibitions art department, where she was in charge of visual communication of its events and institutional image until late 2008. Samir Nait. In 1988, he joined Chardon & Savard Fashion School in Paris. In 1991, moved to London where he went deeper in his studies of Design, Pattern Making and Fashion Marketing at London College of Fashion and Design. This was the start of his professional development, working as a designer and pattern maker for Boudicca and Nicole Farhi. He has been in Argentina, working on a personal project, since 2006. Both have been together since 2006, to develop a new concept in Author Design. In 2009 and 2010, we were chosen to be part of the design exhibition in Protextil09. In june 2010, we were part of Mujeres Fecoba in the bicentennial year, 2nd. Presentation of Creative Industries. We won an award at the 2009 Entrepreneurship Development Program, under the category of entrepreneurship competencies. In may 2009, we took part in The Entrepreneurs and Companies Roundtable: “How do They do It?”, developed in the frame of the 2009 professional links fair, organized by the University of Palermo. In march 2009, we were chosen to be part of Purodiseño fair Selection. In december 2008, we participated in Feria DAS, Diseños al Sur, organized by the Municipality of Quilmes. In november 2008, we were part of “Por la Calle” in San Telmo, a circuit organized by Protejer Foundation. In april 2007, we took part in “El Dorrego”, Design Fairs. In november 2006, we participated in “Código País” creative tendencies festival. |
